Many thanks to The School District of Palm Beach County’s Wellness Champions, led by Carlyle Fabrikant, MS, CWP and Charlette English-Wright. On July 24, 2023, an engaging presentation was enjoyed by participants, who observed Joseph P Cory founder and president Nada Cory, prep and prepare two simple and healthy recipes: Quinoa Kale Salad and a refreshing Ginger Lemonade.
The focus of the demonstration hit some high notes, such as: Eat Better, Feel Better, Plan Ahead, A Smart Stocked Pantry, Shopping and Prepping, Cooking Techniques, and Think Outside the Box.
To conclude, a “challenge” was proposed, suggesting everyone create a simple recipe imparting their new honed skills. Once the voting is complete and a prize has been awarded, we will share it with you!
